A Change of Fortune | Stan Morrison

I just picked me a two-leaf clover
And I split the leaves into halves
My property is my responsibility
I take charge of my luck’s details
When my ship does not come in
My lucky charm goes on standby
As I deliberately row out after it
With no success on my first try
I’m in clover and will try again
Great start for my good fortune
Besides, those four-leaf clovers
I find, are much too hard to find
