Succour | JayM - Read Poetry Online by Talented Contemporary Poets

Succour | JayM

A treasure discovered,
A prayer compiled,
In concert with a desire,
One with shore sight,
A sight for sore eyes,
Strolling thoughts

Footprints upon my soul,
Walk safely in the light of wisdom.
On crashing waves,
Fairies of light sway,
Their tune a cadence,
Of the song of the private river of ages.

A prayer of fairies,
Starry wands aglow,
Bearing gifts of plenty-
An upward gaze,
Parting cloud curtains,
Drops of rain, each a gem.

A single benign preserve of,
A kind word, a soaring trill,
Thoughts of care, turn to smiles.

A bounty,
Of emotional, spiritual benevolence.
Peace,
Rained upon each world,
Weary with care…

Marriage Alliance | Mantri Pragada Markandeyulu - Read Poetry Online by Talented Contemporary Poets

Marriage Alliance | Mantri Pragada Markandeyulu

I am in love with a girl
To my conscious, the girl not loved me
I am worried to speak to her
She never cares me

I thought, I want to speak to her
She never gives a chance to speak
I am wasting time and money
Still, it’s a long shot to meet and speak

I am sensitive in mind
I am afraid to speak in public
I feel I am nervous
It looks guilty to speak to her

I thought all the ways and means
I followed a strategy not to speak to her
I kept silent for few months
Slowly I was forgetting her

Her details are in Matrimony list
I too registered in the same Matrimony list
Her elders contacted me
I gave a green signal for an alliance

A day came closer to marriage alliance
It was a day I went to her home
She was called to speak to me
She never spoke to me, as I expected

I thought she rejected me
I was hoping for a success alliance
No reply came from her side
I doubted about this marriage alliance

A couple of weeks passed
Message came from her
She was ready for an alliance with me
I accepted for this good proposal

Death In Amor | JayM - Read Poetry Online by Talented Contemporary Poets

Death In Amor | JayM

Slow, tender, close in an intimate embrace,
A waltz on the spiral of a trembling leaf in the early morning breeze,
Jouful moments of movement,
Alive in a dance of luminescence,
Leaving a trace of inexhaustible lightness upon the ground; Footprints of ardour
in the sunlight; a mellow shower of cascading delight,
Alternating between the gentle cream of wheat awaiting harvest, and
a crescendo of molten gold.

Soaked in bliss; this emotion of harmony, enchantment and laughter,
I give myself up to your love.
You dig beneath the surface,
Releasing the ecstasy trapped within,
Set me free,
Your music, an unending source of marvel,
Plays upon the ray of sunshine
piercing my mortal being.

Ah! You have come for my soul,
I give up with grace,
To ascend the spiral,
Of immortal passions…
