Dirty Underwear | Michael Marrotti

For the love
of a god
who doesn’t
exist
Why must I
give to receive
Push to pull
Cut not to feel
Live life my way
when it’s
reprehensible
in the eyes
of the ignorant
Misguided
and
content
The use
of their
pointy
righteous
fingers
long for
a victim
all to avoid
the silence
Gossip
is chapped lips
flapping
in polluted air
Punctured lungs
Dirty underwear
