Trance | Debendra Sahu

When I sit on a place motionless shuttering my eyes
Confining the errand thoughts in a flower named lotus
Amid flapping lashes, my eyes begin to fly with the clouds
Searching a piece of land away from clutter and sounds
Where my rumpled heart can open to the joy
And smoothen into a serene blue sky
Where my ruffled mind can peter out
And refresh into vast dunes of sand
Where the solemn face of my silent soul break into smiles
Where it can stop wandering, transcend into tranquil trance.
