Sabotage – A Poem by G. S. Katz

Separation will be difficult
Divorce worse
Can’t take my coffee black anymore
The artificial sweetener is cancer though
Been sabotaging us for awhile now
Your lies didn’t help matters much
You call it being distant
We’ll have to agree to disagree
Maybe a butter rum Lifesaver in my coffee
Will be just enough to power through
Pass the cream please
Making real changes now
