Where Nothing Lives – A Poem by Ananya S. Guha

All through the day
there was a pain,
needle stuck
in the body flowed
to the mind
an owl hooted
I thought it was the traffic
called me for a ride
in sand deserts
where nothing lives,
Only palm fronds.
