Reject Beige – A Poem by G. S. Katz

It’s not a color
That belongs in any spectrum
It’s a pathetic afterthought
Of not quite brown or tan
If you own a beige couch
Get rid of it
Be daring, be bold
March to the store
Buy black and red
You don’t have to think about it
Just do it
Reject beige
Reject everyone who thinks in beige
Don’t be seen in it
You’ve been warned
