Lesson #1 | Stan Morrison - Appreciate Language and Form through the Best Contemporary Poetry

Lesson #1 | Stan Morrison

What rimes with squirrels
How about boys and girls with curls

Then what rimes with chocolates
Try some pebbles and some rock-lets

OK, find one for peanut butter fudge
Get me some now or I won’t budge

The thing about riming
Just like rock climbing
You need perfect timing

If you rime elephant, orange or purple
You could get stuck if you’re not careful?
