Walls Down | Elaine Davison - Appreciate Language and Form through the Best Contemporary Poetry

Walls Down | Elaine Davison

I suppose the next thing
You’re going to tell me
Is that it was my fault.

I’m used to this type of
Ridiculousness going
Against reality.

Why can’t it be normal
For once? Why do we
Have to pretend?

Just once, I wish
You would let
The walls down.

Why don’t you go and say sorry to her….is ego of your being right bigger than your bond. Now same applies to her but the point is she/he might be the one who got hurt….you might have been hurt too but most probably he/she is more so it would be the best if you yourself go and apologize even if you think that wasn’t your fault cause after all your bond matters more than your ego of being right.
