Insomnia | Neil Fulwood - Appreciate Language and Form through the Best Contemporary Poetry

Insomnia | Neil Fulwood

The headboard throws a shadow
like a cell door. The sheets
are a map of my sleeplessness.
Every sound from outside
beats itself on the tin drum
of the ceiling I stare at. 2AM
and metaphors are everywhere.
