Insomnia | Neil Fulwood - Dive into the Depths of Contemporary Voices

Insomnia | Neil Fulwood

The headboard throws a shadow
like a cell door. The sheets
are a map of my sleeplessness.
Every sound from outside
beats itself on the tin drum
of the ceiling I stare at. 2AM
and metaphors are everywhere.
—–
Neil Fulwood lives and works in Nottingham, UK. His poetry has
featured in The Morning Star, Art Decades, Butcher’s Dog, The Black
Light Engine Room and Ink Sweat & Tears.
