Dues | Edgar Law - A Poetry Website Featuring Poems by Contemporary Poets

Dues | Edgar Law

They tell me pay my dues
But I paid them tenfold
With the anchor round my
Neck, with the busted
Knuckle hand, with arthritis
From the cold, drippy nose
From the rain, I tell you
I have walked this earth
Since Methuselah and see
Into their selfish hearts.
