Lined up on the walls
Look at the naked vision
Through the layers of his image
Raw canvas eyes stare back into mine
A mystical tug
Draws me closer
And I drink with him
as I watch him paint this canvas
Before me
Over his shoulder
His beautiful dance with
Imagination
On those days I would clean the brushes
Paving the way
Hands carve oil based poems
Sometimes hidden to the master
Revealing in momentous
strokes
Striking colors blending
Mixing one time lives
Urgent thick and heavy
Touching thinly veiled shapes
With the horns of a bull
Beauty in twisted disguise
I’m comfortable in his mystery
Imagination
