Never Road | Alan Inman - Appreciate Language and Form through the Best Contemporary Poetry

Never Road | Alan Inman

Welcome to the Never Road
where a hooded figure
seems frightening but offers you
sweet wine,
where the good can fly
and the evil wear hooks
on their hands,
as if that’s not derivative,
where compassion flies
through the air, a small
very visible spark.
