Oh Thief in the Night | Michael Kagan

Oh thief in the night
You know where to hide
Your possessions
Where a thief would never think to look
You know how to do this
Your own sneak and crook
Where to set the rat trap
Lure with perfect bait
You know this from your cunning
Hiding your own beating heart
Can’t remember where you put it
Trusting no one to help you search
Just in case they find it lying
Cold and naked
First
