Wet Matches | Michael Kagan

You can sometimes doubt
A perfect sky
Throw away a priceless gem
Knocking your brain
From side to side
As she glides
From place to place
Tasting everything
I can see it on her face
How can I be having
These selfish thoughts
I turned up my radio thinking
Even the sun has remorse
People bask in his joy
Or burn inside their skin
Priceless has her flaws
And I have wet matches.
