We Did, It Didn't | Miracky

I killed her senses
Then I walked away
She pulls me back with her words
Trying to convince me that she’s done
A smell of hurt leaves my hopes for the dead
I lock my heart to regain peace
My suitcases don’t want to leave
But my lungs have run out of air
And you laugh your sorrows away
I refuse to walk away,
then you tell me to go
I never wanted to stay
But love kept me intact
And your voice killed my strength
We choked
Love kept breathing
We struggled
And lost control
We step without pleading
And I slide but you couldn’t fall
It’s all in the heart,
but we never saw it
